Their house. Lit. Before they say yes.

Draw the runs on a photo. The points that draw the lights measure the footage you quote.

How it works

Three minutes in the driveway

Daytime photo of the house

01

Photograph the house

Stand at the sidewalk and take one picture with your phone. That is the whole setup.

Light runs drawn on the photo with footage shown

02

Draw the runs

Tap each end of a roofline and it snaps to the edge. Set the scale once off the garage door and every run measures in real feet.

The same house rendered lit at dusk

03

Show them the night

Hand them the phone. They are looking at their own roofline lit, not a number on a clipboard.

Why it closes

Nobody argues with a picture of their own house.

A homeowner staring at a written estimate is doing math. A homeowner looking at their own roofline lit up is picturing the street seeing it. Those are two different conversations and only one of them ends in a deposit.

It also kills the callback. Half the estimates that go cold go cold because the customer could not picture it and wanted to think about it. There is nothing left to picture.

And because the same points that draw the lights measure the run, the number you say out loud is the number you drew. No guessing at the roofline from the driveway.

The work

Real installs. Not renders.

These are our own jobs. We run a holiday lighting company in South Florida, which is the only reason this tool exists. We built it because we were tired of losing estimates we should have closed.

Questions

The ones we actually get asked

Do I need to be good with computers?

If you can take a picture on your phone you can run this. You tap one end of a roofline and the other, and it snaps to the roof edge for you. There is nothing to install and nothing to configure.

Does it work on a phone in the driveway?

That is what it is for. It runs in the browser on the phone you already have, and jobs save on the device, so a dead spot in a gated community does not cost you the mockup.

Are the measurements real, or is it guessing?

You set the scale once by tapping the two ends of something you know the size of, like a garage door. After that every run you draw reports linear feet and a bulb count off that scale. The points that draw the lights are the points that measure the run.

Do you set my prices or take a cut of my jobs?

No. Your pricing is yours, your jobs are yours, and there is no per quote fee. You pay once for the year and that is the entire relationship.

What happens on December 31?

It ends. Nothing charges, because we never stored a card. Next January we email you and you decide whether to come back.

What can I actually light up?

Roofline, garland, palms, trees, hanging clusters, wreaths and bushes, in C9, C7, mini or permanent, up to five colors per run with pattern repeats.
